历史沿革[edit]
据村情介绍，高榕在1949年属下坝乡，1958年属水寨人民公社，1961年从下坝大队分出，成立高榕大队，1983年设乡，1989年设管理区，1999年起为河东镇高榕村民委员会。[1]
