望楼村在黄金镇的东南部，是梅州市丰顺县黄金镇所辖的一个行政村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据当地说法，新中国成立前国民党在这里建了一幢楼房作谷仓并雇人看守，人们便把此处叫作望楼。[1]1958年编为黄金公社望楼大队，1984年定为黄金区下的望楼乡，1987年设望楼管理区（属黄金镇），1999年组建村民委员会。[1]

丰顺县苏维埃政府旧址在本村，属近现代重要史迹及代表性建筑；梅州市人民政府于2020年3月13日将其列为市级文物保护单位（第七批）。[2]
