埔东村在黄金镇的东南部，是梅州市丰顺县黄金镇所辖的一个行政村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
原叫粄头埔，因在黄金镇东南，新中国成立后改称埔东。[1]1978年属广洋公社，1983年划入黄金公社并设埔东大队；1984年定为黄金区下的埔东乡，1987年设埔东管理区（属黄金镇），1999年组建村民委员会。[1]
人口[edit]
