嶂背村在黄金镇的东南部，是梅州市丰顺县黄金镇所辖的一个行政村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村子背后都是山，故名嶂背。[1]新中国成立后为黄金区嶂背乡，1958年成立黄金公社嶂背大队；1963年并入湖田大队，1973年再分出，复称嶂背大队；1987年设嶂背管理区（属黄金镇），1999年组建村民委员会。[1]
