启明村在黄金镇的东南部，是梅州市丰顺县黄金镇所辖的一个行政村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村在一道长长的山窝里，形如口袋，山上长满苦竹，原名苦竹洞；因「苦」字不吉，音近改称古竹洞，后来又改作启明。[1]1958年编为黄金公社启明大队，1984年定为黄金区下的启明乡，1987年设启明管理区（属黄金镇），1999年组建村民委员会。[1]
