吉坪村是丰顺县汤坑镇所辖的行政村之一，位于汤坑镇西面[1]。村名的来历是：村委会设在吉水凹的大坪地上，故名[2]。2004年10月撤销东联镇后改归汤坑镇管辖[3]。

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网所载：1962年起叫作吉坪大队；此后1982年起叫作吉坪乡政府；随后1987年起叫作吉坪管理区；再后来1999年建立吉坪村民委员会；接着2004年10月东联镇建制撤销后，吉坪村民委员会划入汤坑镇。[3]

荣誉：2019年9月，吉坪村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
