北塘村是广东省梅州市大埔县西河镇辖下的行政村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子西、南、北三面环山，东南临漳溪河，因而得名北塘。明代属永安社，清代属维新甲，1958年秋并入西河公社，设北塘大队，1980年9月划归东塘公社，1987至1988年称西河镇北塘村，1998年起改设村民委员会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

北塘古村有受祜堂、绍知堂、志事堂等老屋。辅德堂建于清宣统二年（1910年），为侨商张韶光所建；振德楼建于1915年，宜斋公祠建于1928年，二者为大埔县文物保护单位，并于2017年3月24日同为第五批梅州市文物保护单位。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

北塘村于2014年11月列入第三批中国传统村落名录，2019年7月入选第一批全国乡村旅游重点村，同年9月被认定为首批「广东省文化和旅游特色村」，12月入选第二批国家森林乡村；2024年4月又入选「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单。[1]
