岩霞村是梅州市大埔县高陂镇的行政村，因靠近石岩寺、村中溪水形似彩霞而得名。[1]

地名由来与沿革[edit]

村在石岩寺脚下，村心溪水自东向西流到水口，形似一条彩霞，故名岩霞。1960年后曾改称「岩下」，1980年恢复岩霞。明代属清远都平原社平原村，清代属源高甲平原村，民国属高陂区平北乡；1958年10月归高陂公社，设岩霞生产大队，1961年1月属平原公社，1983年12月改设平原区岩霞乡，1986年12月改属平原乡岩霞村。[1]

村情与荣誉[edit]

村辖15个村民小组，在册301户、1218人，耕地912亩。2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位，2021年12月获评「2021年广东省卫生村」。[1]
