培美村是梅州市大埔县高陂镇的行政村，位于韩江西岸，原名培尾。[1]

地名由来[edit]

原名培尾，「尾」与「美」音近，「美」字寓意好，改作培美，有倍加美好之意。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清以前属古埜村，民国归高陂区古埜乡。1952年为洲瑞区培美乡，1958年10月归高陂公社，设培美生产大队，1961年1月划入古埜公社，1986年12月改属古埜乡培美村，1998年起称村民委员会，2003年后复归高陂镇。[1]

村情与荣誉[edit]

村辖15个村民小组，在册301户、1387人；村里入股水电站30万元，年收益3万元。2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
