地名由来[edit]
博雅地名网载，村子原叫银潭，因在银江注入韩江处，水深如潭；后来每当日出，阳光照在沙滩上银光闪闪，便改称银滩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明清属清远都古埜村，民国归高陂区古埜乡。1952年为洲瑞区银滩乡，1958年10月归高陂公社，设银滩生产大队，1961年1月划入古埜公社，1986年12月改属古埜乡银滩村，1998年起称村民委员会，2003年复归高陂镇。[1]
拱辰楼[edit]
田家炳祖居拱辰楼在银滩村，是大埔县重点文物保护单位，也是梅州市爱国主义教育基地和学生德育基地。该楼建成于清嘉庆元年（1796年），出自田家炳高祖父田振多之手，砖木结构，共两进，占地320平方米，另有建筑面积264平方米。[3]
村情与荣誉[edit]
村辖16个村民小组，在册396户、1689人，耕地1062亩；村里发展毛竹和双华李种植基地。2014年11月列入第三批中国传统村落名录，2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位，2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1][2]
