古田村是梅州市大埔县高陂镇的行政村，2019年6月列入第五批中国传统村落名录。[1]

地名由来与沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，村名取古塘、田背埔两个地名的头一个字。明代属清远都古埜社古埜村，清代属古源甲古埜村，民国归高陂区古埜乡。1985年从古埜乡分出，设古田乡，属古埜区；1986年12月改属古埜乡古田村，1998年起称村民委员会，2003年复归高陂镇。[1]

文化遗存[edit]

博雅地名网把古野革命烈士纪念碑记在古田村，碑建于20世纪50年代，为第九批大埔县文物保护单位。[1]

据百度百科，国民革命军陆军中将赵公武（1900—1953）出生于古田村，其故居武颂庐也记在古田村（见高陂镇条目）。[2]

村情与荣誉[edit]

村内在册432户、2080人，耕地1355亩，所载上一年农村经济总收入1651万元。2019年6月列入第五批中国传统村落名录；2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
