黄坑村是梅州市大埔县高陂镇最北端的行政村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

博雅地名网记了两种说法：一说村所在的山地多黄土，雨季坑水呈黄色，故称黄坑；另一说清初有黄姓人家最先在此开基建村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明代属清远都桃花社三洲村，清代属古源甲三洲村，民国归高陂区三洲乡。1952年设黄坑乡，1958年10月在高陂公社下成立黄坑生产大队，1986年12月改属高陂镇黄坑村，1998年起称村民委员会。[1]

村情与荣誉[edit]

村辖17个村民小组，在册291户、1321人，耕地1158亩，所载上一年农村经济总收入1399万元。在广东省铁路建设投资有限公司帮扶下，扶持贫困户发展种养业，并投资35万元入股镇小水电。2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
