陶溪村是梅州市大埔县高陂镇的行政村，旧时因办有瓷窑而称「碗窑溪」。[1]
地名由来[edit]
传说四百多年前村口开有烧碗瓷的窑场，上窑子、窑背窠等地至今留有窑址；又有溪水环村而过，早先叫「碗窑溪」，1949年后改称陶溪。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明代属清远都古埜社，清代属清远都源高甲，民国归高陂区富澄乡。1952年设陶溪乡，1958年10月归高陂公社，设陶溪生产大队，1986年12月改属高陂镇陶溪村，1998年起称村民委员会。[1]
