陂村是梅州市大埔县高陂镇的行政村，原名高陂村，是「高陂」这个地名最早叫开的村寨之一。[1]

地名由来[edit]

博雅地名网载，明嘉靖以前，有一股20多千米长的水流，从白芒畲（今桃源镇与丰顺县交界处）经桃源流到九龙湾入韩江，灌田200亩；人们在水源高处筑陂圳，称高陂，受这陂水灌溉的村寨叫高陂村，后简称陂村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明代属清远都古埜社，清代属清远都源高甲，民国归高陂区。1957年为高陂小乡，1958年10月在高陂公社下成立陂村大队，1986年12月改属高陂镇陂村村委会，1998年起称陂村村民委员会。[1]

村辖14个村民小组，在册322户、1468人，耕地841亩（据博雅地名网）。[1]
