龙坑村是梅州市梅江区西阳镇所辖的一个行政村。据当地说法，这里树木繁茂，地势如龙，故以龙坑为名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年，龙坑大队成立，归梅县西阳公社管理；1960年西阳公社划出白宫另置公社，该大队仍留在西阳公社。1983年改称龙坑乡，隶梅县市西阳区；1986年设村民委员会，1989年易名龙坑管理区，归梅县市西阳镇；1998年再改称龙坑村委会。2003年白宫镇并入西阳镇，该村随之划归西阳镇；2012年9月23日西阳镇自梅县改归梅江区管辖，该村亦属梅江区。[1]

  • 2026年3月，龙坑村被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
