水下村位于广东省惠州市惠东县的高潭镇境内，是镇辖行政村，位于高潭水源头的下游，故称水下。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

水下在1949年是一个行政村，1951年并入水口；其后虽恢复过农业村和高级农业合作社的名义，1958年仍并入水口大队。[1] 1977年水下大队从水口大队分出，1983年又并回水口乡；1989年3月再度分出，立水下管理区，1999年后为水下村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，水下村获广东省爱国卫生运动委员会授予的2021年广东省卫生村称号。[1]
