谟岭村位于广东省惠州市惠东县白花镇，是该镇的村级单位之一。村落地势较高，原是一座小山岭，取名谟岭，含有谋求发展的意思。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村民清代迁入，起初属归善县上下淮社，1870年改属堡良约堡。1940年4月，建制名称叫黄茅岭村，隶惠阳县第四区莆田乡；1949年12月分为谟东、谟西两村；1951年11月合称谟岭乡，1957年12月称谟岭村。1958年10月起设谟岭大队；1961年6月曾分为谟西、新群两个大队，1963年2月重新合并。1983年11月设谟岭乡，到1987年3月成立村委会，1990年称管理区，1999年4月起称谟岭村委会。[2]
