凌坑村位于广东省惠州市惠东县白花镇，是该镇的村级单位之一。村里的山塘和小河中菱角成片生长，旧称菱坑，后人按客家话的谐音改写为凌坑。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代，归善县碧甲司的桂凌约管辖此地。1937年9月设凌坑乡，1947年并入忠信乡，1949年12月在平白区忠信乡之下称凌坑村。1957年12月属莆田乡；1958年10月起设凌坑大队，1961年6月转隶莆田公社，1963年2月转入白花公社，1965年7月起属惠东县。1983年11月再设凌坑乡，到1987年3月成立村委，1990年称管理区，1999年4月起称凌坑村委会。[2]
