夏竹园村位于广东省惠州市惠东县白花镇，是该镇的村级单位之一。相传先祖迁到此地时，这里是一大片竹园，时值夏季，于是取名夏竹园。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代，这里归归善县上下淮社的长安约管辖。1940年划入惠阳县第四区白花乡，1949年12月正式称夏竹园村。1958年10月起设夏竹园大队；1961年6月曾改隶平山区田屋公社，1963年3月转到白花公社，1965年7月起属惠东县。1983年11月改为乡，到1987年3月成立村委，1990年称管理区，1999年4月起称夏竹园村委会。[2]

经济[edit]

  • 2019年9月，夏竹园村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
