桥星村属惠州市惠东县大岭街道，是街道下辖的行政村。据博雅地名网，村名由泥桥、明新两个大队合并时各取一字，写作「桥新」，方言谐音为「桥星」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1961年建桥星大队；1983年分成二泥桥、陈屋、岭陂3个村；1984年，桥星同万松、彭白合并为万松乡。1987年3月依惠东府函〔1987〕27号文，桥星另立村委；1990年7月作管理区，1998年3月设村委会。[1]
