历史沿革[edit]

村名源于罗浮山下西沙河与东江环抱的一处港湾。[1]清代属博罗县石湾巡司署石湾约，民国属十二区正义乡，1949年后属第五区石湾乡；此后经长宁公社大队、铁场公社乡、管理区几个阶段，1999年改称石湾村民委员会。[1]
