源头村是博罗县石湾镇辖下的行政村，位于西沙河北岸，2023年入选广东“百千万工程”首批典型县镇村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历是地处西沙河北岸、沙河支流的发源处。[1]据博雅地名网记载，宋末南雄府保昌县的君茹氏父子起兵响应文天祥抗元，战于古岗，宋亡后滞留新会，后为避战乱迁来源头落户；朱氏自河源迁来，李、严、卢等姓从南雄珠玑巷等地陆续迁入。[1]
明代开设源头圩，到清末东博圩、铁场圩兴起，源头圩逐渐衰落。清代属石湾巡司署，民国属十二区正义乡，1958年为长宁公社源头大队，其后改乡、改管理区，1999年改称村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
2020年至2022年，源头村连续上榜淘宝村；2019年9月进入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
