东河社区是惠州市惠城区桥东街道下辖的社区，工作站设在东平南路21号。该处原属东平村，半岛开发后设东河居委会，社区由此得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

东河社区工作站成立于1996年。2012年7月，荷乡社区从本社区分出。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

辖区面积约83万平方米，范围含东湖三街、东湖中路、东平大道、长湖北路等，有光耀荷兰水乡、东方威尼斯、金沙俊园等住宅小区，住户5228多户，居民约1.8万人。惠阳平潭机场、马安糖厂等单位的家属户口也归本社区管。[1]

2022年9月，东河社区被评为「惠州市2022年度绿色社区」。[1]
