历史沿革[edit]
村名来自村委会设在东河村。建国之初这里是东郊环市公社的东乡大队，1950年划入曲江县韶关镇，翌年转由韶关市郊区办事处管辖，到1993年成为新韶镇的东河村村委会，名称一直用到现在。[1]
人口民族[edit]
村民多姓陈、张、何、曾等。[1]
经济[edit]
村里原本种水稻、蔬菜、花生、笋竹和水果；改革开放后土地多被征用，不少农户转成居民户，产业重心移向二、三产业。2014年耕地只剩30亩，另有鱼塘50亩，村办企业47家，涉及酒店、商场、加油站等。[1]
