回龙镇是广东省肇庆市德庆县下辖的镇，位于县境西南部，南临西江，隔江与云浮市郁南县相望，东面与新圩镇、官圩镇接壤；镇人民政府设在回龙社区。[1][2]

全镇面积约132.2平方千米，辖1个社区、9个行政村。2020年第七次全国人口普查时人口为1.42万人。[1][3] 镇内的华表石摩崖石刻是广东省文物保护单位。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

地名取自西江水流经此处回环如龙之意。[1] 1949年底归西和乡管辖。1958年并入红十月公社（9月），1964年另立回龙公社，之后几经易名：1981年新龙公社，1983年新龙区，1986年新龙乡，1987年复称回龙乡。1989年11月，回龙乡改为镇。[1]

地理环境[edit]

回龙镇在德庆县城以西约10公里，西距广西梧州约60公里。全镇都是丘陵，山地约16.7万亩，耕地约1.8万亩，西江岸线长41公里。[2]

经济[edit]

据2000年代初的介绍，回龙镇以种植水稻、蔬菜和桑蚕为主：蚕桑基地5000亩，每年收鲜茧250吨，占全县蚕茧产量约三成；蔬菜基地3000亩，年产蔬菜6000吨；江边一带出产的大头菜较有名。林业以松、杉为主，年可产松脂1800吨。[2] 镇内工业有油脂化工、木雕、爆竹和陶瓷建材等厂，2002年工业总产值12350万元，同年全镇社会总产值28846万元。[2]

如今各村多种植贡柑和沙糖橘；建发村的大头菜于2020年入选广东省首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，六水村的茶叶于2021年入选第二批。[5][6]

名胜古迹[edit]

华表石摩崖石刻在建丰村西江北岸，山体由火山岩形成，海拔373米，又名锦石山、锦裹石。明代两广总督凌云翼在罗旁一带用兵平乱后，万历七年（1579年）请书法家黎民表题写「华表石」三字，石刻总面积87平方米，单字面积约4.3米乘3.2米，是岭南现存最大的摩崖石刻；2002年被公布为第四批广东省文物保护单位。[4]

荣誉[edit]

2022年，回龙镇被列入广东省乡村治理示范镇创建单位名单；2026年3月，戴垌村、大塘村、六水村被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1][6][7][8]
