历史沿革[edit]

清代称四山。怀集县人民政府以怀发〔1998〕20号文批准，1998年11月成立山奢村民委员会，名称取自村委会驻地的村名。[1]

经济[edit]

以林业为主，速生丰产林有10800亩，高脂松700亩，村民另种八角1000亩、茶竹200亩。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2022年8月被确定为「2022年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位；2026年3月被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]
