竹六村在下帅乡西部，辖6个村民小组，745户、2443人；耕地1217亩，其中水田988亩，山地1642.7公顷。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清代这里分属蔚竹村、六椽村和沙坪村。怀集县人民政府以怀发〔1998〕20号文批准，1998年11月成立竹六村民委员会，名称取自村委会驻地的村名。[1]
经济[edit]
栽种速生桉3300亩，并有南药500亩、厘竹300亩、松200亩。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年1月列入「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」；2026年3月被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]
