云田村是怀集县诗洞镇南端的行政村，距圩镇20多公里，东邻广宁县、西接封开县、南靠德庆县，辖9个村民小组，村情页记总人口980多人。[1]2022年1月，它被广东省乡村振兴局确定为广东省2021年乡村治理示范村的创建单位。[1]

名称与沿革[edit]

1998年11月，县政府以怀发〔1998〕20号文批准设立云田村民委员会，因驻地云田村而得名。[1][2]起初称云田大队（人民公社时期），1983年改乡，1987年改称村委会，1989年4月又称管理区。[1]

地理与经济[edit]

村情页形容这里山高林密，是边远的山村；耕地570多亩、山地26000亩，种水稻为主，兼种玉米、生姜、辣椒，速生丰产林已种1600多亩。[1]
