下坑村是广东省肇庆市怀集县凤岗镇所辖的行政村。因该地在连东河下游而称下坑。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

该地最早是1955年的下坑高级社，次年之后的1958年改作大队，1981年成乡，1987年叫村委会，1989年叫管理区；下坑村村民委员会于1998年11月设立，依据是怀发〔1998〕20号文件。[1]
