四村是广东省肇庆市怀集县凤岗镇所辖的行政村。村名的缘由是村委会由鱼尾、黄垌坪、寨坪、鸡脚崀四个大自然村组成。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新乡、四村、麦村三地在1953年曾合为新四乡，到1959年才分开，四村另编大队；1983年11月改称四村乡，到1987年叫村委会，1989年4月起叫管理区，1998年再改作村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，总人口3384人，分23个村民小组，面积1035.11公顷。村民有种黄菜的习惯，这种菜生长期60天，又叫「六十日」，种在沙质土里，腌后爽口、色泽金黄。老支书雷本兴办的雷氏食品厂用「绿凤」商标出售六十日酸菜，销往肇庆、佛山、广州等地。[2]
