汉塘村是肇庆市高要区小湘镇辖下的行政村，地处大湘公路旁，占地约6平方千米，分7个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

汉塘村在解放前归大湘乡管辖，解放初编入大湾区，1955年改属窦头区。1958年末区撤乡设，汉塘成为东风人民公社的一部分；到1959年末，大湾、小湘两地分治，汉塘随之划归小湘人民公社，设大队。1983年政社分开，称乡；1987年撤区建镇，改称村民委员会；1989年起设管理区，1998年撤销管理区，恢复村委会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

据博雅地名网所载村情，汉塘村有309户、1191人。耕地913亩、山地5570亩，距镇城区约6公里。农户种稻、冬瓜和肉桂，2009年农民人均纯收入约5318元。[1]
