广新社区在肇庆市鼎湖区广利街道，属肇庆新区的新建城区，辖区约32平方千米，博雅地名网称预计常住居民约7万人，归为城乡结合区。[1]

辖区内学校有宣卿中学、新区中心小学，另有华侨城纯水岸小学在建；住宅小区共11个，包括华侨城、依云水岸、宝能城等。[1]百度百科记广利街道只有12个社区，未含广新社区，可见该社区是此后新设的。[2]
