龙头社区位于肇庆市鼎湖区广利街道，濒西江，在街道办事处周边，距办事处不到1公里、距鼎湖区城区约5公里，分17个村民小组。[1]社区内的龙头彭村有彭泰来故居、彭氏书屋和龙头彭氏宗祠，均为肇庆市文物保护单位。[3][4]
历史沿革[edit]
宋淳祐年间（1241年至1252年），卢姓人家从四会县龙头乡迁来建村。[1][2]1953年归高要县第八区的龙头乡，1959年叫龙头大队，1988年3月随广利镇划入鼎湖区，2002年4月改为龙头社区居民委员会。[2]
经济[edit]
居委会概况称社区人口2693人，耕地1524亩（年份未注明）；低洼田改作鱼塘，设有两个鱼苗孵化场，另辟花卉和蔬菜基地。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
彭泰来故居在龙头彭村四巷19号，彭氏书屋相距约30米，均建于清代。[3]龙头彭氏宗祠建于明代，咸丰年间重修，祀彭泰来的祖先。[4]
