麻场村是广东省茂名市信宜市平塘镇辖下的行政村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

当年平塘公社有一处直属的农场，专门种植草麻，农场就设在此地，村因而叫麻场。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地原归罗罅管理区办事处管辖，1958年自罗罅划出，另立麻场，1960年改称大队。此后经乡政府、管理区办事处等阶段，1999年起称村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2023年5月，该村获广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号；2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
