榃棉村是广东省茂名市信宜市平塘镇辖下的行政村，以三华李入选省级专业村名单。[1]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，村口前榃棉河拐了一个大弯，河道像一张弓，河中横着一块大石，河水冲击大石发出的声响像弹棉花的声音，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立前，此地属林垌乡十五堡；新中国成立后立榃棉乡，土地改革期间与湘垌并为湘榃乡，1961年再分出，立榃棉大队。此后经乡政府、管理区办事处等阶段，1999年起称村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

在2021年9月公布的第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」省级专业村名单里，榃棉村以三华李上榜。2023年5月，该村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
