播扬村是广东省茂名市化州市播扬镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的西北部，辖24个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，名称依次为：播扬大队（1962年）、播扬乡（1983年）、播扬村民委员会（1987年）、播扬管理区办事处（1989年），1999年起复称村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

村民委员会自述（未注年份）：在册820户、3968人，村域面积3.4平方千米，耕地923亩；种植的经济作物以水稻、香蕉、蚕桑、种果为主，上一年农村经济总收入928万元。村里着力发展香蕉、蚕桑和种果。[1]
