坦塘村是广东省茂名市化州市林尘镇下辖的行政村，在镇域西北部，由29个村民小组组成[1]。
人口与土地[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，全村有1342户、6159人在册，总面积约10平方千米，耕地5529亩[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
人民公社化的1958年，设立坦塘大队，其后1983年称坦塘乡，到1987年，改设村民委员会，1989年再设管理区办事处，1999年起，恢复村民委员会之名[1]。
