波罗垌村在茂名市化州市新安镇境内西北部，是该镇所辖的行政村[1]。据博雅地名网，全村设20个村民小组，共1107户、4982人（该网未注明统计年份），耕地5126.9亩[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

波罗垌民国时期隶清波乡，土地改革时随之归红光乡，1958年公社化时仍在红光乡。1962年改划新安公社，当时的农业合作社称波罗垌大队。以后1983年建乡，1987年设村民委员会，1989年改称管理区办事处，1999年重新称村民委员会[1]。

村里的主要作物是水稻，特色收入来自黄皮、番石榴；该网所列上一年「农村经济总收入」为3550万元（年份未注明）[1]。
