历史沿革[edit]

村名来自旧时村前的一段深水河道。[1]

1962年马贵公社设深水大队，1983年改管理区并改乡，1986年改农村管理区，1999年后为村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2022年8月，被省里确定为当年的民主法治示范村（社区）的创建单位。此前的2019年10月，它已入选广东省卫生村名录。[1]
