甘埇村的名称取“甘甜”之意。[1]
1959年马贵公社成立时设甘埇大队，1983年改乡，1986年改农村管理区，1999年后为村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年，先是9月进入省民主法治示范村（社区）创建名单，10月又入选卫生村名录。[1]
