历史沿革[edit]
建制从1958年的甲村大队开始，1984年成乡，1988年为村委会，1991年为管理区，1998年起为村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，甲村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单；2021年1月入选「湛江市2020年度全市文明村」；2023年5月，村内的后吉尾村获广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
