地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网所记，村前河水清澈，树林幽静，如在洞境一般，故称清垌。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清垌大队原属南塘公社。1961年公社体制下放后辖水口、清垌两个大队，并划归新分出的大井公社，1963年初二者并为一队，称清垌大队。1983年建乡，1986年改称农村管理区，1999年起设村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年8月，清垌村以蛋鸡产业入选首批「广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」。2021年12月获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。2022年1月，广东省乡村振兴局把清垌村确定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位。2026年3月，又被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]
