镇江村在茂名市高州市的镇江镇境内，是该镇的一个村民委员会。村名同镇名，来自镇罡市的建设。据《镇罡市志》，镇罡市始建于民国8年（1919年），借“罡星”以镇之；1978年改称“镇江”。[1]

据博雅地名网所载沿革，该村1961年起称镇江大队，1983年设镇江乡，1986年又称镇江农村管理区，至1999年组建村民委员会，名称延用到现在。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2026年3月，又进入广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇之列；2019年10月进入广东省卫生村名录；被列为广东省2018年度民主法治示范村（社区）的创建对象（2019年9月公布）。[1]
