镇江社区（数据中称镇江）位于茂名市高州市镇江镇的镇中心区，地处镇江圩，名称即因此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

最早是1959年镇罡公社下的镇罡圩大队；1983年归入新设的镇江区，成为镇江乡政府所辖；1986年底前后改为镇江镇圩地管理区；1994年建立居民委员会，其后名为镇江社区居民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

镇江社区被列为广东省2018年度民主法治示范村（社区）的创建对象（2019年9月公布）。[1]
