柏桥村属广东省茂名市高州市根子镇，是镇下设的行政村。相传古时有一位名叫陈柏桥的人，坟墓葬在此地；后来何姓人家把坟迁走，在原址建起房屋，为纪念此人而用他的名字作村名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年成立人民公社时，柏桥一度并入茅坡大队；1960年体制下放后，另立柏桥大队。其后的名称是：1983年称柏桥乡，1986年称柏桥农村管理区，至1999年定为柏桥村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
荣誉[edit]
- 2019年12月，入选第一批国家森林乡村名单。[1]
- 2020年8月，入选第二批全国乡村旅游重点村名单，并成为首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村（荔枝）。[1]
- 2024年1月，名列广东省2023年度民主法治示范村（社区）。[1]
- 2024年4月，进入广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村的创建名单。[1]
- 2025年5月，进入全国示范性老年友好型社区的创建名单（2025—2026年度）。[1]
- 2026年1月，上榜2025年广东省「美丽庭院」特色村名单。[1]
荔枝与人口[edit]
据百度百科，柏桥村委会辖柏桥村、塘劈村、岭腰村等18个自然村，共1080户4380人，面积约5.2平方千米，以何姓居多，多数人讲涯话；荔枝种植面积6800亩，占村域面积的87%以上，当地荔枝种植史逾2000年，2023年荔枝产值1.4亿元[2]。村内的贡园古荔树群见根子镇条目。
