到湾村属广东省茂名市高州市根子镇，是镇下设的行政村。村前有根子河流过，河水在村的西北面拐出一处深湾，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

人民公社化时（1958年），到湾划归四合一大队；1960年体制下放，才单独设立到湾大队。其后的名称是：1983年称到湾乡，1986年称到湾农村管理区，至1999年定为到湾村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2019年9月，成为2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
  • 2021年12月，被授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
