名称由来[edit]
华兰、保犁两地在1956年并为一个乡，乡名从两个地名中各取一字。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1956年定名保华乡；1959年自保犁分出，设立保华大队；1983年起称保华乡；保华农村管理区一名始于1986年；1999年改由村民委员会管理，至今未变。[1]
2021年12月，该村获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
