历史沿革[edit]
1953年这里建乡，1958年改编为生产大队，1983年复称乡，1987年称村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年又改回村委会，名称一直用到现在[1]。
经济[edit]
据该页介绍，村内年均气温约22摄氏度，年降水量2200毫米上下；种植的作物主要是花生、水稻、红薯等[1]。突出的收入项目为花生、对虾、虾塘租金和劳务输出，上一年全村农村经济总收入记为3798万元[1]。村里养殖禽类以肉鸭、蛋鸭为主；多年来着力开挖虾塘，公开投标承包，以虾塘租金增加集体收入[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2023年4月，它名列「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位；2021年12月被广东省爱卫会授予2021年广东省卫生村称号；2020年8月入选首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单（产品为千禧圣女果）；另于2019年9月上榜2018年「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单[1]。
