热水村隶属麻岗镇，在电白区境内，位于镇域西北面，是镇辖的行政村之一。[1]据博雅地名网转录的村情资料（未注明年份），全村分18个村民小组，在册633户、3342人，耕地745亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1962年由麻岗公社划出，立热水生产大队；1983年改为热水乡，1987年设热水村民委员会，1989年一度改叫热水管理区，1999年起又称村委会，沿用至今。[1]

村情资料列出的主要作物有花生、番薯。[1]特色收入来自荔枝、包装厂。[1]资料给出的上一年全村经济收入合计1834万元（年份未注明）。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

热水山下是热水温泉所在，山体海拔407米。[3]据中山大学学报1996年的论文，温泉在明嘉靖十八年（1539年）由巡按广东的监察御史涂相主持修建，涂相所作《温泉亭记》留存至今；当地还流传秦始皇在此设热水郡的说法，论文引自《电白县志丛书》（1994年）。[3]清代屈大均的《广东新语》也记过这里的温泉。[3]

山脚的灵源古寺建于明代，清代整修时曾改称“温泉寺”，寺前有石道，往来官商和行旅常在此歇脚。[3]论文写道，古寺在上世纪70年代因年久失修倒塌，只剩半壁残垣，山上还有古道门、古浴池和许多摩崖石刻。[3]

今日的御水古温泉度假区占地500多亩，是国家4A级旅游景区，明嘉靖年间“温泉春浴”被列为电白八景之一。[2]2023年11月16日，度假区被评为“中国五星级温泉”，百度百科称这是茂名市首家获此认证的温泉企业。[2]

热水水库在村附近，1958年动工，1964年建成，是电白五十年代兴建的五大水库之一，属中型水库。百度百科记其总库容3150万立方米；1996年的论文记为2916万立方米，并说水库担负农田灌溉和博贺镇居民的饮用水供应。[3][4]
