沿江社区是广东省湛江市吴川市梅菉街道下辖的社区。名称来历：地处鉴江下游东岸，沿江而建，因此得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

沿江一带先在1997年设管理区，次年（1998年）即改称居委会。[1]

概况[edit]

沿江社区在街道西南，成立于1997年，是街道新规划的社区，面积58万平方米，有1970户、4089人，设8个居民小组。工商、司法、审计等市直单位和吴川市第二人民医院在辖区内。[1][2]

社区2007年被评为湛江市安全文明小区。[2]

2019年9月，该社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
